  9.    Told in a semi-journalistic style, with a brisk narrative.  Its a
  10. style used often in investigative contexts, and reads well.  Much of
  11. it centers around the "UFO Working Group" within the DIA, headed by
  12. Col. Harold E. Phillips.  What follows are some notes from the book --
  13. there's more to the book, but here's what I wanted to hang onto.

  47.     Nov    Projects "Moon Dust" and "Blue Fly" created (but
  48.         not used, at least officially.)  "Moon Dust" was
  49.         to "locate, recover, and deliver descended
  50.         foreign space vehicles"; "Blue Fly" to "facilitate
  51.         to FTD (Foreign Technology Division, Wright-Patterson
  52.         AFB) of Moon Dust or other items of great technical
  53.         intelligence interest.".  The memo (by a Colonel Betz),
  54.         goes on to note that "foreign" vehicles includes 
  55.         "unidentified flying objects", and that the units
  56.         should be able to go *anywhere*, recover or perform
  57.         "field exploitation".  (Later - date unspecified,
  58.         just "in the 1960's and 1970's - "Saint" - a UFO
  59.         inspector, would be launched piggybacked on an
  60.         Agena-B reconaissance satellite (used by the CIA)
  61.         to view UFO's in space; and "Blue Gemini", a
  62.         manned Gemini capsule which would attempt to
  63.         actually capture "uncooperative" UFO's or satellites.
  64.         Both these projects were - officially, at least - 
  65.         never implimented.)

  68.         be withheld from public and even the Congress, by AF

  70.         AF holds may legally be withheld.

  124.    Not a bad read, though there isn't any "final summation", the
  125. book just sort of peters out at the end (except a kind of lame 
  126. "if people believe, and are nice folks, then there's hope".)
